M-aximm x Sam Anderson

M-aximm discovered his love for music at a young age, mainly through his father's old record collection. He bought plenty of records himself and started mixing on vinyl. At 16 he was already behind the decks in well-known dance cafés and clubs such as Sens Unique, Mono and Moorea.

His sets of vocal house, retro and nu disco did not go unnoticed. He was invited as a guest DJ at Tomorrowland, Dreambeats Festival, Fika Winterfestival, Sotto's Festival, Back to Chopin, Made in Belgium and I Love Retro. You will also find him regularly in pop-up bars such as Summerlake, The Night, Azuro, Huskybar, Bar La Gare and Wolfbar. In his own words: "For me, it's all about mood, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere."

That feel-good approach is exactly what makes the duo with Sam work. Vocal house and nu disco leave room for congas, bongos and djembé, and together they turn a bar or terrace into a small party. Both know the nightlife around Kortrijk well, from Diedjies in Kuurne to Summerlake.
