Live percussionist and djembe in Brussels

A trilingual live act for corporate events, galas and international parties in the capital.

Brussels: companies and international guests

In and around Brussels I have played two corporate events, including the Vlerick Awards at Skyhall Brussels Airport.

Brussels is a city of companies, institutions and international guests. In 2025 I played a corporate event in the city through an event agency. In 2026 came the gala dinner of the Vlerick Awards at Skyhall Brussels Airport, just outside the city in Zaventem.

What Brussels organisers appreciate: I speak English, Dutch and French with the DJ, the venue and the guests. A live act without lyrics, built on rhythm, works just as well for an audience from twenty countries as for a Belgian team. From Kortrijk I reach Brussels in just over an hour.

For companies, expats and international weddings

  • Corporate events and galas: a live moment after the speeches or awards, followed by the party with the DJ.
  • International weddings: an act that needs no language and gets both families on the dance floor.
  • Private parties and birthdays in lofts, rooftops and event halls.

Digital percussion (Roland HandSonic and SPD-SX Pro) is often the best choice in Brussels venues, because it runs through the DJ mixer and stays within the sound budget. See also corporate events and international bookings.

Planning a live moment at a Brussels gala

At a gala or corporate event in Brussels, timing is everything. There are speeches, a dinner, sometimes an awards ceremony or product launch. I plan my live percussion for the moment the energy needs to rise: after the last speech, when a winner is announced or when the party starts.

Send me the run sheet and the contact details of the production team or DJ. I agree the technical details in advance, arrive in good time and stick to the agreed moments. For events with international guests, all communication can be in English or French. See also gala, launch and kick-off.

Questions about events in Brussels

Question not listed? Send me a message.

Do you speak French and English with organisers and guests?

Yes. I work in English, Dutch and French with the DJ, venue, agency and guests. The rider is available in all three languages too.

Do you charge travel to Brussels?

Brussels sits around the limit of the first 100 km from Kortrijk. If your venue is beyond that, the mileage fee is shown clearly in your proposal.

Can you play on a rooftop or terrace in Brussels?

Yes, as long as there is power and a covered spot for the electronics. Outdoor events often have local rules on sound and finishing time, so check with the venue.

Do you work with Brussels event agencies?

Yes. Event agencies can book me directly on behalf of their client. I follow their run sheet and coordinate with their production partner. More on for DJs and agencies.
