In Hainaut I have played six times since 2025, all at Ikona Club in Pecq.
Ikona Club in Pecq is my regular address in Hainaut. I have played there six times: club nights, an afro house night with DJ Kevin and an open-air edition in summer. Pecq is close to Tournai and the French border, and the afro house nights there are lively.
For me the area is close by. Mouscron is fifteen minutes from Kortrijk, Pecq and Tournai 25 to 30 minutes, Mons about an hour. That makes Hainaut a natural fit for weddings and company parties too, even though so far I have mostly played clubs there.

From club night to wedding
I bring the energy of a club night in Pecq just as easily to a wedding at a farmhouse near Tournai or a staff party in Mouscron or Mons. I speak French with the venue and guests, and the DJ can be a local DJ or someone from my network.
The video shows the digital percussion in a dark club. These instruments suit any genre and run through the DJ mixer, which is handy in venues with a sound limiter. See also weddings and Wallonia.
Afro house in Pecq, weddings around Tournai
The nights at Ikona Club show what the djembe does best: afro house and latin house, late at night, on a packed floor. The night usually starts around eleven, and in summer the party sometimes moves outdoors for an open-air edition or an afro house afternoon.
For a wedding or company party around Tournai, Mouscron or Ath, I adapt that energy to the moment: shorter, more focused and matched to the evening's programme. The digital instruments mean I can also play along to a mixed playlist of French and international hits.

Do you charge travel in Hainaut?
Not for Mouscron, Tournai, Pecq, Ath or Mons: they are within the first 100 km from Kortrijk. For Charleroi and the east of the province a mileage fee may apply; it is shown in your proposal.
Do you play weddings in Hainaut too?
Yes, I am available for weddings and corporate events throughout Hainaut. So far I have mostly played clubs there, but the packages and approach are the same as in Flanders.
Do you speak French with the venue and guests?
Yes. I work in French, Dutch and English. Ideal for bilingual families or companies on both sides of the language border.
Does the djembe work at a French-speaking party with French hits?
Yes. The djembe suits afro house and latin house best, but with the digital instruments I play just as well over French and international party hits. We agree the mix with the DJ in advance.
