Weddings, companies and festivals
Since 2023 I have played 18 times in East Flanders, in fifteen towns. Three weddings are already booked for 2027.
After West Flanders, this is the province where I play most, and the mix is broad. I have played four weddings and four corporate events, including at the Verbeke Foundation in Kemzeke, Aalst Proeft and De Foyer in Erpe-Mere. Festival-wise I played Lokerse Feesten and Festiloco in Ninove. Add three birthday parties, a boxing gala in Aalst, a fair in Zottegem and a night at the Schepenhuis wine bar in Herzele.
From Kortrijk I reach Oudenaarde and the Flemish Ardennes in half an hour, Ghent in 40 minutes and Aalst or Lokeren in about an hour. Most towns are within the first 100 km.

From the Flemish Ardennes to the Waasland
The south of the province, around Oudenaarde, Zwalm and Wortegem-Petegem, is popular for weddings at farmhouses and estates overlooking the hills. Around Ghent, Aalst and Dendermonde you find the larger event halls and corporate venues. The Waasland and Meetjesland are home to summer festivals and village parties.

A growing region
East Flanders is where I have grown fastest in recent years. Half of my shows in the province were in 2026, and three weddings are already booked for 2027, in Eke, Zwalm and Wortegem-Petegem. Most nights fall in summer: weddings, festivals and company summer parties.

Do you charge travel in East Flanders?
For most towns, no: Ghent, Oudenaarde, Aalst and the Flemish Ardennes are within the first 100 km from Kortrijk. For the north of the province a small mileage fee may apply; it is shown clearly in your proposal.
Do you play weddings in the Flemish Ardennes?
Yes. I have played in Oudenaarde and have weddings booked in Zwalm and Wortegem-Petegem for 2027. Rural venues sometimes need extra attention for power and sound; I agree that with the venue in advance.
Are sound limits stricter in East Flemish venues?
The Flemish sound rules apply across Flanders, but each venue sets its limiter differently. Check in advance which limit applies. My digital percussion runs through the DJ mixer and stays within the same budget.
Can you play a corporate event in Ghent or Aalst?
Yes. I have played company events in Aalst, Lede, Erpe-Mere and Kemzeke. More on corporate events.
