Live percussion and djembe in Lille and northern France
From Kortrijk I reach Lille in half an hour. Available for events in Hauts-de-France and further afield on request.
Lille, just across the border
Lille is closer to Kortrijk than Brussels is. A party in the Lille metropolitan area is a short drive for me.
I have played live djembe and digital percussion with DJs for more than 18 years, with more than 250 performances in Belgium since 2022. In France I am available for weddings, corporate events and private parties in Lille, Roubaix, Tourcoing and the rest of the Nord department, and on request elsewhere in Hauts-de-France or beyond.
I speak French, so coordinating with a French DJ, venue or wedding planner is easy. For international couples and companies celebrating in northern France, I can also do everything in English.
What I bring to northern France
- Weddings: live percussion for the drinks reception and the party.
- Corporate events: a live moment after the speeches, then the party with the DJ.
- Ibiza and afro house nights: DJ and live percussion on a terrace or indoors.
The Lille metropolitan area is within the first 100 km from Kortrijk. For destinations further into France the mileage fee is shown clearly in your proposal. See also international bookings.
Honest about France
So far I have played in Belgium. France is a natural next step: Lille is closer to Kortrijk than Brussels, and the way I work stays the same as in Belgium: a proposal within 24 hours, online signing, coordination with the DJ and venue, and my own equipment.
Planning a wedding at an estate near Lille or a company party in the metropolitan area? Mention the exact venue in your enquiry and I will check travel time and practical arrangements straight away. For destination weddings elsewhere in France, I look at each request individually.
Questions about events in France
Question not listed? Send me a message.
Do you play further into France than Lille?
Yes, on request. For Paris, the coast or a destination wedding I check availability, travel and any accommodation, and include everything in the proposal.
Can you play with a French DJ?
Yes. I agree style, tempo and connections with the DJ in advance, in French. No DJ yet? I can suggest one from my network.
Do you charge travel to Lille?
No. Lille and the surrounding towns are within the first 100 km from Kortrijk, so travel is included.
How does payment work for an event in France?
Just as in Belgium: you sign the proposal online and, depending on the proposal, pay a deposit via Mollie. The date is then confirmed and I coordinate with your DJ and venue.
