Antwerp: a city of companies and clubs
In the province of Antwerp I have played four times since 2023, in the city and in Kontich.
My first show in Antwerp was a corporate event at Kinepolis Antwerp. Two club nights in the city followed, plus a dance party in Waarloos near Kontich. That is fewer than in West Flanders, but the kind of events shows what people here book me for: parties where the dance floor is the main event.
The province has a large corporate events market, from city offices to the port and the business parks along the E19 and E313. Schilde, Brasschaat and the Kempen also have castle estates that are popular for weddings. From Kortrijk I reach Antwerp in about an hour and a quarter.

A live act for your Antwerp company party
At a company party in Antwerp, live percussion works best after the formal part. After the speeches or awards the DJ starts the party and I join in with the LED djembe and digital percussion. People who would normally stay at the bar come over to watch and dance.

Which package suits an Antwerp event?
For a corporate party with a fixed programme, organisers often choose Solo (60 minutes) or Duo Percussion (90 minutes): enough for a strong live moment after the speeches and a first dance set. For a big end-of-year party or a castle-estate wedding, Triple Beats (120 minutes) works better, with djembe, digital congas and bongos and a drum pad with timbales.
For a stage or a large hall there is the Full Set, with real congas and bongos, an extra PA and a technician. Whatever the package, you get a fixed proposal with travel included. More on DJ with live percussion.

Do you charge travel to Antwerp?
Antwerp sits around the limit of the first 100 km from Kortrijk. For venues further into the province, such as the Kempen, a mileage fee applies. It is shown clearly in your proposal.
Can you play with an Antwerp DJ?
Yes. Send me your DJ's name and I will agree style, tempo and connections in advance. No DJ yet? I can suggest one from my network.
How do you handle the sound limiter at an event venue?
Ask the venue which limit applies and whether the limiter can be adjusted. My digital percussion runs through the DJ mixer and stays within the same sound budget. For the djembe we agree the volume.
Do you play Antwerp clubs?
