Club nights, residencies, beach bars and festival stages. This is where I play most, and where I learned what a dance floor needs.
From club night to main stage
Clubs, bars and beach bars make up by far the largest share of my shows. On top of that, I've played 19 festivals since 2022.
A club DJ set is all about timing: building tension, leaving space and adding energy at the right moment. Live percussion plays into that. I follow the DJ, read the room and choose my moments. A subtle rhythm under a groove, extra accents in a build-up or a full hit on the drop.
For promoters and venue owners, a live percussionist is a visible difference. Guests film it, share it and come back. My LED djembe and LED jacket stand out in a dark club and on a festival stage. I work with the resident or line-up DJ, or bring a DJ from my network.

Beach bars and the coast
Salito Beach in Blankenberge is my regular spot. Also Ostend Beach, King Beach, Casino Blankenberge, Casino Middelkerke, Kursaal Oostende and Dance Festival Middelkerke.
Festivals

I've shared the stage with Francis Mercier, Onfaya, Roger Sanchez, Dimaro, MATTN, Vilalica, Mark with a K, Maxim Lany, Zohra, Dave Lambert, Fatia, DJ Licious, Greg S, Robert Abigail, Pat Krimson, Blvckprint and Dimitri Wouters, among others.
At a festival, coordination with the DJ and stage manager is short but vital: when I go on, how long I play, where I plug in. I bring my own in-ears and wireless receivers and only need one input on the mixer. Everything is on the technical rider.

What do you need technically in a club?
One free input on the DJ's mixer and power. I bring the djembe, drum pads, stands, in-ears and wireless receivers myself. I send my rider to the technician in advance.
How long do you play at a club night?
Usually 60 to 120 minutes, in sets tuned to the DJ and the peak hours. The djembe is played in short sets; the digital instruments can go on longer.
Can you play with a line-up DJ you've never met?
Yes, it happens a lot. We agree briefly on style and moments, and during the set I follow the DJ. After more than 250 shows, improvising with a new DJ is routine.
Is a residency or regular night possible?
Yes. For recurring nights in a club or beach bar, we set up a fixed arrangement. Get in touch with your schedule and concept.
Do you play festivals in Wallonia or France?
Yes, I play all over Belgium, including Wallonia and Brussels, and I'm available in northern France and the Netherlands. The first 100 km from Kortrijk are included.
