About Kevin Kinembe
Kevin Kinembe started out thirty years ago in small clubs, where he developed his own style. His first major residency was at La Scale. He then spent 8 years as a resident at Catacombes and another 8 years at Escape, where he became one of the most "colourful" DJs in the region. He is still resident at Escape's So Retro parties today.
In recent years Kevin has focused on afro house, a genre close to his musical roots. He now also produces his own tracks, with a debut EP on the Ibiza Planet Music label. His path is that of a DJ who keeps evolving and exploring new sounds.
Afro house and djembé are a natural match. With Kevin Kinembe, Sam plays long, rolling grooves in which the djembé carries the rhythm alongside the DJ. Ideal for afro house nights, Ibiza-themed parties and sunset sessions.
