About AMAXXY
AMAXXY has played the Cannes Film Festival, Formula 1 events, fashion shows, destination weddings and beach clubs abroad. His open-format style blends house, funk, soul, disco, R&B, hip-hop, afrobeat and world music, often on vinyl. His motto: play all music, for all people, all over the world.
His musical story began at the age of ten at the piano in music academy. He started DJing on vinyl, released his first mixtapes and was soon playing Belgian events, clubs and radio shows. At 18 he moved to Cannes for a one-year course in DJing and music production, combined with studies in event and music management. Today he tours all year round.
Sam and AMAXXY regularly meet at weddings and private parties. His broad open-format selection gives Sam's djembé and digital percussion plenty of room. From an elegant drinks reception to a packed dance floor, the two build the night together.
