Zohra’s ambition soon caught the attention of a well-known dance producer, who invited her to become the frontwoman of 2 Fabiola. Between 1994 and 1999, the group became a regular fixture in the Belgian and Spanish charts, scoring a string of hits throughout Europe and touring the world, from Spain to Japan and Russia.

Her newfound status as a sensual and exotic frontwoman brought her extensive media attention, including numerous modelling features in magazines. A solo career naturally followed.

Never one to shy away from a new challenge, Zohra reinvented herself as a DJ. She launched her DJ career in 1998 at Ibiza’s legendary Space and went on to perform internationally in cities and countries including Paris, the Czech Republic, Shanghai and Australia.

Back home, she has performed at numerous Belgian clubs, festivals and events, including Hypo Dream, Beachland, Gladiolen, Lokerse Feesten, Maanrock, Rock Zottegem and Red Bull Elektropedia stages. She has also been an F1 Red Bull Racing resident DJ, resident DJ at Blue Buddha Lounge in Knokke and house DJ at Circuit Zolder.

Her impressive list of corporate clients includes Microsoft, IKEA, Paris XL, House of Talents, MediaMarkt, Coca-Cola, PwC, McDonald’s Hasselt, Sven Nys’ “Merci”, Van Mossel Automotive Group and the Brussels Motor Show.

She also joined Magnus – the dance project of dEUS frontman Tom Barman and producer CJ Bolland – as an MC during their festival tour.

In 2003, she became Maggy, the dance teacher in a Ketnet series that would prove highly successful and remains well known to this day.

In 2023, Zohra performed alongside Praga Khan at a sold-out Ancienne Belgique and joined them for their Farewell Tour at several festivals.

Today, Zohra continues to bring together a lifetime of musical influences and experiences through her DJ sets, whether she is playing clubs, private events or festivals.

Her sound ranges from accessible House and Disco to Latino and Afro. And when it comes to the classics, she knows exactly what she’s doing: ’90s Retro House and Techno are part of her musical DNA, and few play them quite like she does.

Sharing her energy with the crowd through music is what continues to drive her. Zohra is a born entertainer – and after all these years, her favourite place is still the stage!
